On June 28, 2008, my husband Peter and I were married at Sky Restaurant in Norwood, Massachusetts. Both the ceremony and reception were held at the restaurant.
We were so fortunate to be able to have George be the DJ at our wedding. He was so prepared for our event that, despite all the worries a bride has on her “Big Day,” never once was I concerned about the music for the evening.
From the entrance of our mothers to start the ceremony until the final song of the night, the musical choices were flawless. Even when presented with a challenge, George came through for me when, one day before the wedding, my niece forgot her background music for a song she was to sing during the exchange of vows. George stepped right in, downloaded the song, and coordinated the version with her right before the ceremony. She didn’t skip a beat, so to speak, and received raves for her performance from the guests!
Over and over again, guests have told me how much fun they had at our wedding and I give George much of the credit. The putting green was a fantastic idea as it brought together wedding guests who never would have met otherwise for a spirited and fun competition. And, since our dinner was served buffet style, George came up with a creative idea to have a trivia contest to decide which table went first.
Despite all the fun we were having, George and his assistant Matt were complete professionals who emceed the event and kept the evening flowing by capturing the right music for the mood, from standards during the cocktail hour, to more up-tempo beats towards the end of the evening.
As you can see, both Peter and I highly recommend George Confoey for any event you have, be it a wedding, birthday, or professional function. You will not be disappointed!

(Before reading this testimonial you should be aware that this testimonial was provided by Jon Buck who is a DJ in Hudson, MA who I met at a local DJ conference. Shortly after we met he retained my services for his wedding reception and this is what he had to say.)
George is the best I know! In many of the rated areas above, I wish that I could rate him and his service higher than excellent. George truly cares about his work and reputation, and he continues to demonstrate professionalism at the highest possible level. I knew when I met George two years ago, after a short conversation, that he was the perfect man to DJ my wedding. I assured my fiancé that I picked the right guy, and that I would not disappoint her. Sure enough, after my fiancé met George, she agreed that he would be the perfect guy to work with us on our big day. George was always willing to go the extra mile for us.
Typically, DJ’s want to contract their clients, meet with them for a
consultation once, do the job, get paid, and move on. Not George. George was willing to take the time to meet with us in person a year and a half before the job to discuss how we wanted our day to flow. Then about three weeks prior to our event we had another meeting where George took his time and went through every little detail of the day. During this meeting, George made sure that he documented everything, even going to the extreme and recording the meeting for his future reference. At the end of the meeting, George told us to just relax and enjoy, he made sure that my fiancé and I had total confidence in him, which we did from the very beginning. After this meeting, my finance requested that we have a quick conference call to discuss a couple of changes. George did not hesitate and gladly worked with our schedule to find a time that worked for both
parties to talk. George again went over the entire plan for the day and again made sure that we had no worries or concerns.
The day of the event, George and his gear looked and sounded just as I had imagined. He was dressed professionally, and his setup was extremely clean and attractive. Throughout the event, George did everything that we asked and worked on the fly at points to make everything go of with out a hitch. He played the titles that we requested and all requests from our guests. At the end of our wedding and still to this day, our
guests have continued to call on us to find out whom that DJ was that kept the dance floor packed all night long. People also have told us that they have never been to a better wedding reception, and that they have never seen a bride and groom have so much fun. I attribute the fun that we had and the perfect wedding reception to George and his passion and care that he puts into his work. We thank you so much for a great time on behalf of Kate and I and all of our guests.

I would tell anyone looking for a DJ that you are phenomenal. You have a great DJ voice, excellent selection of music for the occasion and you were on time and didn't try to leave early. You had great suggestions and everyone at the party called me on Sunday to tell us how wonderful the party was and there was not one person who didn't comment on how excellent the DJ was.
